Welcome to the MA Studio collective!
MA Studio is a collaborative network of artisans and facilitators in the Cascadia bio region working to bring our holistic community together for reclaiming sovereignty, sharing traditional skills, and bringing depth of meaning into the lives we touch.
Each of our affiliated Makers, Storytellers, Workers of Magic, and Creative Spirits bring different complementing gifts to the table, and from there, a wide variety of opportunities naturally arise. Watch this space as we populate it with online tutorials, podcast episodes, our new magazine, travelling tales, workshops, retreats, and more new ventures that we create together. We'd also love for you to follow us on Instagram @MAstudio.love for a beauty filled experience of our happenings! |
Events Up Next!
MA studio events take place throughout the Cascadia Bio Region from Long Beach, Washington all the way up to qathet, British Columbia, so please check location details carefully! Events listed here may be hosted by any of our illustrious studio members and span a wide range of specialty activities. Here you will find everything from healing song circles to sheep chasing to bookbinding grimoires!
Meet the good folks of MA Studio
Suzanne Glick is the mastermind and head mistress of MA Studio, having birthed Maiden Avalon and nurturing it into a maturity that now also mothers others.
She is a skilled and varied polymath who has worked with textiles since she was 9 years old, is a certified Waldorf teacher, handwork teacher, creatrix of learning programs for children, and holder of women’s magic maker circles. As a natural modern nomad, she has spent many years internationally bringing her skills to the people, building off grid living collectives, and fostering communities of down-to-earth renegades through traditional skills and heritage crafts. Her talents are actually too many to list. She’s the gal to wrangle the neighbour’s sheep for shearing, fix the brakes on a camperized bus, bind your handmade paper into books, re-create your favourite outfit in a fabric you’d prefer, plan a new start up school, teach you to spin wool straight off a rabbit and how to cure a sick chicken, all while telling stories of her travels and probably entertaining your kid with a puppet. |

KoriLynn is a soul singer, visual creative, energetic healer and rainbow seed planter, bringing her magic through all that she touches and gives voice to. She is the publisher of our upcoming print magazine, host of our podcast, collector of Florence's tales, supporting photographer and instagram handler, as well as facilitator of events through the Rainbow Seed Gardens. Berkana Eala walks hand in hand with the blood mysteries and cycles of women's bodies, facilitating womb rites, teaching fertility signs, and guiding meditations through her Waking Womb program.
She lives and loves closely connected to mother earth, passing inherited traditional skills through playshops and eco friendly, slow fashion clothing to community members. Berkana is one of those wise souls in a young body, bringing knowledge beyond her years into her work as fellow maker, event host, social media minder for MA Studio, and mothering her son into the next generation of wisdom keepers. Juliette Jarvis is the devotional artist behind Selkie Sanctuary, co-creatrix of the Secret Garden, and webmistress for Maiden Avalon & MA Studios.
She too is multifaceted; just as likely to drop insights from working as a neurofeedback technician into the conversation, as writing a best selling book, or unraveling a family curse. After spending many years as a sacred living teacher, facilitator for community ceremonies, and writer of returning reverence to our lives, much of her focus now is on bringing other realm healing work into tangible form through hand woven ritual wear and ceremonial ceramics. If you need a shawl to help retrieve a lost soul part or desire your cards read about a sticky situation, this is who you call on.
